| With a successful 10-year track record under its belt, Duncan Reid is enjoying one of its busiest periods as a specialist fabricator of post-formed worktops. |

The companies products are used in a range of applications, from shop fitting to boats, and Duncan Reid now employs 40 people at its factory in Billingshurst, West Sussex. It has invested heavily over the past decade in the latest production equipment.

Reid opened a new factory in Manchester. The self-contained production line there employs 15 people, and includes a Selco beamsaw, Hamag edgebander, Altendorf saw; Thru-put postformer, Interwood router and spray booth.
When specifying the new production line at the Manchester site, Duncan Reid management turned to Woodwaste Control Engineering Limited to design, manufacture and install the dust extraction solution required.
"Woodwaste Control has a good reputation in the industry, and installed the extraction system at our Billingshurst factory," said Duncan Reid buyer Nicola Lee. "It was natural that we should use them again."

| Wood Waste Control designed a silo-based extraction solution comprising a full ducting system taking waste from each individual production machine to a WFS/32HK silo filter with 33" 40HP fan, externally-mounted on a steel frame under which a skip sits for waste disposal. |
