| Woodwaste Control installed a combined dust extraction and wood burning system at the Elddis site at Consett, Co. Durham over a year ago. It replaced labour-intensive individual bagging systems for each woodworking machine there, giving Elddis benefits in improved safety and working conditions, reduced energy bills and disposal charges. |

|
| Following the recent acquisition by Elddis of Compass Caravans Ltd, and formation of The Explorer Group, the company moved its hardwood door production facilities from Consett to the modern factory at Leanly Park, Co. Durham, where Compass touring caravans and motor homes are manufactured.
WC was again selected to provide the dust extraction system. It designed, manufactured and installed an extraction system that ducts waste from 18 CND routers, other woodworking machines and sanding benches in the door shop into a single WFC/13/5 five-module chain filter with 33" 40HP fan.
The woodworking machines already in use for Compass caravan production currently employ individual stand-alone bagging units.

| This is a labour-intensive and relatively inefficient means of extracting waste and The Explorer Group plans to link these machines to the new extraction facilities installed, which have been designed with sufficient capacity to accommodate this additional waste.
Amalgam Dawson, health, safety and maintenance manager at The Explorer Group, said: "Since the acquisition of Compass we have gone a long way in bringing the standard of equipment in line with that of Elddis and in my position I look forward to being able to link all the machines in the most efficient manner",
